The Federal National Population Commission Census Summit

The Permanent Secretary Dr. Agiriye A Harry represented by the DEOHS Dr. Thank God Frank attended the National population census summit on 17^th October 2022. During the meeting, various stakeholders in the State were sensitized about the upcoming 2023 national population census. The presence of the Board was important to the meeting as it continues to provide facilities and personnel to support birth and death registration in the State.

The highlight of the summit were:

• Imperatives/ benefits of the National census of 2023.
• The methodology of the census (de facto dejure etc) 
• Buy-in of stakeholders to participate and support the exercise.
