Second Quarter Supportive Supervision of the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health Services 

The supervision took place between 14^th April and 30^th June 2022. 

The objective of the visit is to Support, Motivate and identify areas of weakness in Service Delivery of Environmental Health Activities in the LGAs.

The Department planned to visit 12 LGAs but visited 10 due to logistics challenges. Those visited were Ikwerre, Omuma, Asari-Toru, Abua-Odual, Ahoada East, Oyigbo, Opobo/Nkoro, Gokana and Tai. At the end of the visit, The Director of Environmental and Occupational Health Department directed the Medical Officers of Health, Heads of Environmental Health Units to address pending issues discovered during the visit and abate environmental nuisance.
