COMMISSIONING OF PRIMARY HEALTH CENTRE OMUANWA, IKWERRE LGA

Primary Health Centre Omuanwa in Ikwerre LGA was commissioned on the 4^th of August, 2022 by the Deputy Governor of Rivers State, Dr. (Mrs) Ipalibo Harry-Banigo, represented by the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Health, Dr. (Mrs) Utchay Ndidi Chikanele. In attendance were dignitaries from the Local Government Authority led by the LGA chairman, Hon. Engr. Samuel Nwanosike, officials of the State Ministry of Health, Primary Health Care Management Board, and other illustrious indigenes of Rivers State. The aim of building the new PHC is to improve universal health coverage by delivering quality health services to indigenes of Omuanwa community, and Ikwerre LGA at large.
